It's been a while since I have written.. it's been a while for a lot of things with me. Please don't give up on me... I know I am pretty faithful about writing but right now everything seems hard for some reason.

I am going through some difficult times right now but hopefully will be back in the swing of things soon. I am going to do some DEEP soul searching and for the first time in my life listen to my intuition and soul. If you ignore it.. I found it NEVER goes away. All I can say is.. I have known what was good for me all along (speaking in terms of life and many other things)... NEVER betray your soul! It WILL catch up with you.. and at 35 years old.. this is what is happening.. it is FORCING me to take a GOOD DEEP look within myself as PAINFUL as it is. I can only thank God that I am 35 and not 80!

The Storm is knocking

The wind is howling, the rain is pouring, the candles are lit, and the lights are flickering.

Supposedly... and to what it seems is knocking on our door.. we're up for quite the storm here in the NW.  

Although storms ( to me) are somewhat intriguing, it is sad to know there have already been a few deaths related to the storm.. (you never like to hear that news).. and my Lil' man Scout... just shakes in his boots to thunder, lightening, and wind. For some reason he feels "safe" in the basement.. and on occasion in the bathroom in the BATHTUB. He has his own little antics, and we'll do whatever it takes to make him feel the most safe (bless his precious little heart)

Snow was here.. and now it's gone

The snow was here.. dumped fairly hard and now it's gone, just like many things in life. They dump on you hard, fast, unexpectedly and then the're gone.Sometimes it lingers leaving dirty slush to look at for a while and clean up, but sometimes it completely disappears without a trace it was even here to begin with.

I LOVE the snow..... but this year it brought sadness.

Bailey LOVED the snow much more than I. She would romp, play and turn into an instant puppy with the snow. I so looked forward to our long walks in the snow. Bundled up, with her at the lead, then to come home and curl up by the fire with her in my lap.

Why did I choose this one? Was it luck? Was it fate? Was it meant to be? Just like Bailey? Maybe is was a gift from Bailey? Regardless... it is beautiful and it came from heaven.  It was here for a short period of time and then disappeared back into the earth

Just here long enough to give me pleasure, and make me smile.

Tired of hurtin!

For the past few months I have been dealing with lower back pain.

My doctor hasn't been the best help, mainly because SHE can't find it (mind you she is an interalist) then.. well.. there should be nothing wrong..

I am here to say I am absolutely SICK of hurting all the time. It is amazing how hurting can effect everthing! Today is especially bad. I have a feeling a lot of it has to do with WORK. Seriously. I have tried massage therapy (which feels wonderful at the time.. like a hurt so good kind of thing) accupuncture.. and that seems to help for (record has it) for a day 1/2. I CANNOT wait until my treatment tomorrow!!!!.. and if anyone says.. accupuncture doesn't hurt.. they are lying!

I tell you if I was NOT in pain.. there is NO WAY I would let someone stick 12-15 NEEDLES in me!!!!

It seems the more sitting I do (i.e. work-day job) the more the pain progresses throughout the day. I tell ya.. how does a doctor HELP you? When they don't even believe you? I have an MRI scheduled wednesday and after that I am telling my doctor to give me up and let someone else take over (someone who can help!)

I have tried not to post about this only because  I KNOW.. there are A LOT of people who have it A LOT worse than me.. but today... I am sorry.. I couldn't help but vent....

I wanted soooooo bad to go to Art n Soul Vendor night in Portland this weekend... but 6 hours in the car seems like a nightmare to me right now! :(

A little bored today home babying my back (been having horrible lower back problems lately).. Missing my Aunt Ann's 50th Bday Party, ((((HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANN!!!))))) and feeling a little sorry for myself I guess... here I am on the web answering those questionaires to find out more about me (really how silly is that?) Apparently I fall into the white chocolate category.. which really is a good thing because I don't care for chocolate... OTHER than white chocolate!

A Night out

Last night we went out to spend my $100 gift certificate for a "service award" that I received from the company I work for. We decided to make it a really nice dinner and went to one of our favorite fancy restaurants  "Daniel's Broiler" in Seattle on Lake Union.

We didn't have reservations so we were looking at an hour wait. It worked out good though because when we were leaving the house Scout gave us such a fit we decided to bring him along for the ride. This gave us time to walk him (and us) around the marina to look at the million dollar yachts.

On our little stroll, we met a little Westie named "Skipper". He was a service dog with a jacket that stated so.. but not only a JACKET.. but a BADGE!!!! His little badge had his picture on it and everything.. it was the cutest thing I've ever seen!!! You can see his badge in the picture

Dinner was absolutely delicious... I splurged and had lobster!

We were so full after the fabulous dinner we didn't have desert there, but I did come home and indulge myself in my FAVORITE ICE CREAM! Dryers Peanut Butter cup!!
