"Back to Basics and back from the Dead"

Not the nicest title for my first initial post after several years,,

but it's right on the money. :)

 

Thank you to my incrediblely talented dear friend Hope Wallace Karney  who did a wonderful job getting my wesbite up and looking incredible!!!!   :)

I have been out of commission,, per say for the last few years, not necessarily my intention but that's what happens when you have a baby. I was lucky enough to be able to quit my day job (hence my website name.... which I will talk about soon in another post) and stay at home with my daughter, and in doing so my creative side has been put on the back burner... until now.

My last publication was in Susan Tuttle's book Exhibition 36

 
 I was working on some last minute details with Susan and I clearly remember her telling me...

 "you will be giving up pretty much everything for at least two years after you have a child"

I honestly laughed when she told me this and thought ~~NO WAY... not that long....~~ well she couldn't have been more correct!!!

And... my daughter is now 4 years old!!

So here I am "Back to the Basics and back from the Dead!"

but SOOO happy to be here!!!

Stacie, You, Jeff and you wonderful daughter Audrey mean the world to me! You have been so supportive in my journey and I am so glad we have developed the relationship we have now! I am so proud of you and how incredibly talented you are! I am getting my painting framed by Michael as I type this and I'm so excited to display it proudly in my home.
