I'm sure this was very hard for you to put together, but also such a nice way to remember. Of course I cried as soon as I saw it. My heart goes out to you.

All I can say is how appropriate-angels in the arms of angels. My heart cries for you; I have been there.

Your slide show is such a wonderful tribute to Scout- made me tear up and remember how lucky we are to have these beautiful golden dogs in our lives even for a short time. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I bet there were a lot of tears putting this post together, it made ME want to cry! Especially because your dogs are so similar to mine (flat-coats) in their personalities--love to swim, always happy, love people (esp. kids), always have to have something in their mouths! Very endearing! It is so heartbreaking to lose a pet, I try not to think about the fact that they have such a short life span. I remember a while back, you had a professional photographer take your dogs' pics down on the waterfront, they were beautiful. Aren't you glad you did that now? You have some wonderfu memories preserved in these photos.

very beautiful my sweet friend...
