Time out to PLAY!

Inspired yesterday by Pam Garrison's recent journal making I took it upon myself for a little time out to play. We often get SO wrapped up in life we forget to play. What comes naturally to children (absent of responsibilities) we too need to play.

I wish we could reach back in our memory banks to remember what it is like to be able to play without the self critic we posses as we get older. Some adults have actually achieved this! I envy them!

So despite all the things I NEED to get done.. I did manage to take a little time to play with some paint! It was beautiful outside, so I sat on the patio and did some starter pages for a journal I will probably never finish (see.. it's that self critic!) BUT despite that.. I did have fun with it!
