It is so cute how our neighbor kid, Stuart likes to come and hang out with us. He is always curious as to what we're doing and loves to visit and talk.
Last weekend before he was leaving for his boyscout meeting he stopped over to chat and show us his magnifying glass. He informed us how you could start a fire if you needed to if you were lost in the woods (something I am sure he learned in boy scouts) and fabricated a few stories for our entertainment.
So Jeff proceeded to show him you could also melt crayons! He was FASCINATED by this!
What a kid! He just cracks us up! So curious in nature... he is pretty fun to have around!
And Scout observes from the background.

He likes you guys because he sees what wonderful people you are and you treat him like a person. So many people just ignore kids but check out Jeff melting crayons with him! ( think what a hit he was at boy scouts AFTER that trick!) Stuart is lucky to have you guys as neighbors.
Hugs

Cool! Will have to try that with my kids! I've never melted crayons, but I do remember 'frying' ants with the magnifying glass...poor things...I feel so bad now!
