Dad in town

Dad and Martha (his wife) are up to visit this weekend. They fly into Seattle this afternoon from LA. Tonight we will do the usual Mexican dinner deal, and not too sure what is planned for this weekend. I have some  (well a lot) of Christmas shopping to do, maybe they will be up for that.

We are supposed to have record rain this weekend (how can you have record rain when it ALWAYS rains???--compared to what??? years before,, who cares,, if it rains it rains!) Tonight would be a good night for a log in the fireplace , good book, and a cozy blanket covered in dog hair--thats ineviatble)

All I know for sure today is TGIF and it's my Mother-in-law's Birthday! Happy Birthday! (I am pretty sure she doesn't read this though)

Disappointment

When I first thought about this topic, I thought about NOT writing it on my journal, but why not,, I mean that is what this journal is for right?

I am so sick of being disappointed by people. I know that probably goes along with my anxiety issues, and expectations and I also know that along the way (of life)  I myself have probably disappointed many myself, and regretfully so.

But what’s with these people who constantly disappoint people and FEEL nothing???? Do they have no heart?? or is that they are SO self-absorbed that they could care less?? or just stupid???…. I just don’t understand it.

and mostly WHY DO I EVEN CARE???? I guess I care because I am seeing this done to someone close to me, someone I love and it hurts me to see it. Enough is Enough Already!

Thank God it's Friday.

Off work for the weekend, payday, school is out, and hopefully getting a Christmas tree this weekend. Can't get any better than that!

Relieved!

I worked on my website last night until 1am! talk about procrastinating! Obviously I am better under pressure because there is NO time left to be "afraid" of diving in!

It's not exactly what I had imagined, but close enough, and better than what I thought it would be. I can tweek it in time. I have to say I'm pretty dang proud of myself though!

The class is offically over now. The quarter went so fast. It was a fun, learned a lot, had a great teacher, and met some very nice and talented people!

Early Christmas & Under PRESSURE!

Today I spent the day with a friend at the Puyallup Fairgrounds at what they call a "Victorian Christmas". She has been trying to get me to go for the last few years, and I finally gave in. There are TONS of vendors which are supposed to be mostly handmade "victorian" themed gifts etc... a lot of them were quite intriging, but I can totally do without the cheap imported gift stuff. Despite the rude women, strollers, and cheap imports we had a great day.

I come home to a total under pressure deadline....

UMMMMM my website is due (for my grade final) TOMORROW.  OMG!

I himmed and haahed about canceling the day w/my friend, but could not do it, after all she took the day off work, and has been wanting me to go for a long time.

SO, here I am writing in my journal when I should be working on my FINAL!!!!!

I know I procrastinate, but hell,,,,, like it's hours away that it's due!

Gotta go and get this DONE!
