My first Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to ALL Mothers!

I never knew until now how wonderful, rewarding, and breathtaking it was to be a Mother. It is the hardest... yet the MOST rewarding job I have EVER had!

I am so BLESSED!

Skin smoother than silk

At the the wind and the sea.

You unveil the sweetness
To the simplest things
The dog when she barks
Or the bird when it sings

Everything is beautiful
You yearn for so much
A blade of grass is amazing
So wonderful to touch.

And who knew a spider song
Could make you smile so big
Or a soft spring breeze
Or the touch of a twig

You make me slow down
And realize the good
How the simplest of things
In life are understood

As time passes on
As you grow and you learn
The moments of little
This time I will yearn
