My first Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to ALL Mothers!

I never knew until now how wonderful, rewarding, and breathtaking it was to be a Mother. It is the hardest... yet the MOST rewarding job I have EVER had!

I am so BLESSED!

Susan Tuttle's book!

My dear friend Susan Tuttle has worked so hard on her new book EXHIBITION 36!!!

She was gracious enough to ask me to be a part of it.(which I was THRILLED).. and deal with my delayed deadlines and procrastination due to the addition of our little one.

Despite the busy first few months with the little.. I was able to get her some artwork to contribute, and she was SO patient with me (thank you SO much Susan!)

After all Susan's hard work.. the book is now up for pre-sale at AMAZON! How exciting! And I am so excited to say that the artwork on the cover in the upper right is mine :) Very exciting for me (thank you Susan)

Very Touching

I am putting this post under the category of INSPIRATION... which is what it is...

I caught an interview with this remarkable man on TV last night.

It touched me so much.. not only what he has to say.. but the fact that he is dying from the same disease that took my Aunt.

He wrote a book "the last lecture"... one of which I have ordered and can't wait to read.

He talks about living our own dream.. AND...ENABLING OTHERS DREAMS.. I like that

Last night.. Diane Sawyer asked him..."will you want them to make a movie of your life?" He replied... "there is no one pretty enough to play my wife"

A taste of Spring

We got a taste of spring the other day with it warm enough to actually sit outside on a blanket...

OH.. it felt so nice..

This is my friends daughter Sydney feeding Audrey... she IS Audrey's buddy. Syd has been a HUGE help to me since Audrey's birth! She is my little angel that comes over to help me on occasion. She is SOOO good with Audrey, and Audrey absolutely adores her.

Our blossoming plum trees are in full bloom now.. but we have yet to see any consecutive days of sun.. mosty rain.. so when the sun does come out we take full advantage of it!

After a lot of hard work... my friends daughter... (and my second daughter)....MADE her high school cheer leading squad!!!!!

We watched the last cuts yesterday... and waited patiently till 10:00 last night to find out the good news....

CONGRATULATIONS VICTORIA.... I AM SOOOO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and... despite her ex-boyfriend in the top row mimicking her while she tried out.(like she is not nervous enough)... she STILL PREVAILED!!!!!!!

This is where I am at...The BIG question....

.....To return to & keep a career (a dis-satisfying one that requires no right brain activity)....one that is all I have known for the past 17 years....and put "the little" in daycare for someone else to raise...

......To stay at home with "the little"....to watch her grow everyday... to be a Mother...to teach her things..make sure she is clean/fed/happy.......to give up my financial independance...
